teenage idols & arrogant fantasies


The first time I've been fan of someone, I didn't wanted to admit it to myself. I mean, the fanatism itself is not glorious at all, and not really original. You just have to see these hords of people disguised in the star they love. This first time, I was in a concert crowd, and I realized how one tiny tiny guy in a sparkly cropped t-shirt could unite a crowd.
Strangely, I've always been more attracted to music stars than other stars. I had the feeling, maybe wrong, that they were more honest, more direct. That's why I tried here to create music idols, five excessives characters, just waiting to be objects of a teenage fanatism. I believe idols are necessary, they welcome the instant desire. And from idols we go to icons, because the image overrides the person, and becomes the perfect receptacle for the fantasies.
So here we are, meet my iconic characters, in music please.
